GTO Stat Checker

Finally, a program that automatically compares your stats to the solver!

I have combined Hand2Note and PIOsolver/MonkerSolver to create a complete map of GTO frequencies for every common scenario in 6-max no-limit hold‘em cash games, which you can import your hands into.

This stat checker will instantly identify any common spot where you are deviating from equilibrium, for example, overfolding vs. double barrels or delay c-bets. You’ll also learn how to use this stat checker to do population research, and find out what mistakes your pool is making.

This is the tool I wish I had when I was making my way up the stakes early on in my career. It can save you an enormous amount of time and energy by taking the guesswork out of your study routine, so you can stop spinning your wheels and identify what is essential for you to study.

Are you making the most of your study time?

Have you ever spent an hour or two procrastinating on your poker studies, only to finally get to work and think, “What the hell should I even study?”

You sit there for another ten minutes and your mind goes blank. You have some hands marked from yesterday’s session, but they don’t seem that interesting today. Then you remember about the poker course you bought that you haven’t finished yet. So you fire up a video, only to find yourself fast-forwarding though concepts you’ve already studied.

The problem is most poker coaching is produced for the mass market and is not personalized for your needs. Most programs ignore the fact that the most important part of studying is first figuring out exactly what your biggest weaknesses are, so that you can focus on fixing those, not studying the same things everyone else is studying.

When I was starting out in poker, I was frustrated by the lack of tools and coaches available that could tell me exactly what I was doing wrong. I had a vague sense of what I should be working on, but I also knew there were mistakes I didn’t even know I was making.

That was the really frustrating part. I felt like I was improving slowly and steadily, but if I just had a tool to show me specifically where I was leaking, then I could progress ten times faster.

That’s why I developed the GTO Stat Checker. I spent countless hours tinkering in Hand2Note, a notoriously complex program, until I built a tool that could identify all my leaks automatically.

As a head coach for multiple successful cash game stables, I’ve run hundreds of database reviews for players from low stakes to nosebleeds. I’ve worked tirelessly to build the best stat checker on the market, and I know how to get the most out of it. And now, I want to give this information to you.

Take a sneak peek at the GTO Stat Checker

The Mobius GTO Stat Checker includes 30 pages and over 2,000 custom stats. Below, you can see a sneak peek of the stat checker (500nl version) for a student's preflop stats.

If the student's (Hero) stats are marked blue, that means they are too passive at that node. If they are marked red, that means they are too aggressive at that node. This color coding system is built into the stat checker and works automatically.

As you can see in the Defense vs. Open Raise section, this student has a tendency to overfold their big blind vs. small open raise sizes (2.0-2.2 bb), and they have a tendency to miss 3bets in some spots.

In the next page of the preflop stat checker, in the Defense vs. 3bet section, you can see that the student overfolds vs. 3bets, and does not 4bet enough. Believe it or not, glaring preflop leaks like these are extremely common, even for high stakes pros.

This was a big surprise for me when I started doing a lot of database reviews, especially for winning high stakes players. Even though we live in the age of commercial GTO trainers, and GTO preflop charts are literally being given away for free, professional poker players still don’t play preflop correctly.

A student’s preflop game might look decent on the surface, but as soon as you start looking at how they respond to different open raise sizes, or checking if they 3bet and 4bet enough from all positions, you start to see leaks all over the place.

The stat checker doesn’t just cover preflop. On the General page, you can see all of your most important aggregated stats. For example, you can look at your bluffing frequency across all river bet lines, or your folding frequency vs. all flop raises.

In the video modules of the course, I’ll give you target ranges for the most important stats to make sure you’re defending and aggressing optimally.

For example, in the River section, you can see that this student is folding vs. river bets an average of 61% of the time. The optimal fold frequency for this stat is in the 45-50% range, so this student overfolded the river by well over 10%!

The stat checker isn’t limited to just analyzing. your own play. In the video modules of the course, I’ll show you how you can use the stat checker against your opponents. For example, you can use the General page river stats to analyze how often your pool is bluffing the river, and whether you have an incentive to overfold, overdefend, or defend optimally on the river.

The stat checker will also map your frequencies against GTO for all common spots on the flop and turn. These GTO flop and turn stats were derived using PioSOLVER multi-flop aggregation reports.

For example, the next page shows that this student severely overfolds vs. turn probes of all sizes as the in-position preflop raiser in single raised pots. This is a very common leak.

Finally, the stat checker has GTO stats for common river lines in single-raised pots. The next page shows that this student is severely overfolding in all common river lines as the in-position preflop raiser.

The Pio stats (yellow stats) were calculated using a custom plug-in to enable multiflop aggregation reports for river lines. As of 2023, GTO defense and aggression frequencies for river lines are not publicly available in commercial GTO solvers or trainers.

These GTO river frequencies are essential for plugging your own leaks and doing effective population analysis, and I am excited to share them publicly for the first time as a part of this program.

With complete vision over all of your leaks, you can become unbeatable at the poker table. Rather than aimlessly watching whatever poker videos got released this week, or reviewing hand histories randomly with a GTO trainer, you’ll know what is essential for you to study. You’ll gain the upper hand against your competition by having a greater awareness over your own weaknesses.

Unleash the

power of Hand2Note

As both a professional poker player and as a coach of multiple highly successful cash game groups, Hand2Note has always been my secret weapon. I believe it is the most underrated poker software on the market.

But Hand2Note is notoriously complicated to use, and many people give up before they realize how powerful the program is. Or even worse, they make mistakes and get fooled by inaccurate results. I have seen players (and even coaches) spend dozens of hours doing research in Hand2Note without realizing all of their work is wrong because of a few incorrect settings!

This program is made to save you the headache of learning this software, so that you can get to the important part: finding and fixing your biggest leaks.

Meet Patrick Howard

I’m Patrick Howard, the founder of Mobius Poker.

From 2019-2021, I was the head coach at Poker Detox Cash CFP, and I led the team to over $5M in profits during that period. One of our “secret weapons” at Poker Detox was our advanced database reviews for leak finding.

During my time as head coach, I personally did hundreds of these database reviews. I optimized my stat checker and learned all of the most common mistakes poker players make, and the how to fix them.

Since 2022, I’ve been the head coach of Mobius Cash, a program that works exclusively with high stakes and nosebleed cash game players. During that time, I took the stat checker to the next level by programming it to compare players’ stats to GTO frequencies automatically. Now, I want to give this stat checker to you.

I’ll help you find the mistakes you don’t realize you’re making, and offer guidance on how to fix them. If you’re looking for more direction in your studies and the ability to find and plug your own leaks, I'd be delighted to help.

Study smarter, not harder

Studying poker doesn’t have to be hard. You shouldn’t need to waste any more time trying to guess what you ought to work on.

I’ll give you the vision that you need to study in a smarter way, so that you can start your next study session with a prioritized list of your top leaks, and a clear plan of action for how to plug them.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Hero and GTO stats for all common preflop spots are included.

Hero and GTO stats for common FLOP lines are included for single-raised, 3bet, and 4bet pots.

Hero and GTO stats for common TURN lines are included for single-raised and 3bet pots.

Hero and GTO stats for common RIVER lines are included for single-raised pots. (Sample size is almost always insufficient to study river lines in 3bet pots.)

Hero stats aggregated for all aggression and defense lines are also included, for example, fold to river bet in all lines, or river bluffing frequency in all lines. Target ranges for these stats are discussed in the video modules of the course.

Please see the screenshots of the stat checker shown above for more detail.

  • The stat checker was built for 6-max no-limit hold’em cash games. All of the hero/pool stats will still work for MTTs, but some of the GTO stats will be inaccurate.

The biggest changes for MTTs will be preflop stats and flop c-bet stats. For most turn and river defense stats and range composition stats, there won’t be a significant difference between cash and MTTs.

I may release a chipEV MTT version of the stat checker in the future, so stay tuned!

  • The key difference is this stat checker has hundreds of built-in GTO stats, and it automatically highlights your stats if you deviate too far from equilibrium. Other Hand2Note popups released up to this point do not include this information, or do not automatically identify mistakes for you.

  • Hand2Note is not included in this course. The stat checker can be used with the free version of Hand2Note, however, you will not be able to run Range Research to analyze your pool, or look at popups on stats if you are using the free version of Hand2Note. (You’ll need to look at popups on stats if you want to analyze range composition.)

To make full use of the stat checker, I recommend purchasing Hand2Note EDGE.

  • The course includes a full tutorial for setting up Hand2Note and installing the stat checker. No prior knowledge of Hand2Note is required. If you have difficulties, you can reach out to Hand2Note support, or ask for help in the Mobius Stat Checker Discord server.

  • The stat checker includes versions compatible with both Hand2Note 3 and Hand2Note 4.

  • In general, the more hands the better. That being said, you can look at preflop and some postflop stats after just 10k hands. For a comprehensive stat check, I recommend using at least 50k hands.

If you are using the stat checker to do population research, I recommend using as many hands as you have. At least 100k hands is a good start.

  • Most sites are compatible as long as you are tracking your volume with Hold’em Manager, PokerTracker, or Hand2Note, or you download your hand histories directly from the poker site.

You should verify that your hand histories are compatible with Hand2Note before you purchase this program.

  • No, this course includes video modules and Hand2Note popup profiles, as well as access to a Discord server for the program. This course will teach you how to run your own stat checks, so that you don’t need a coach to identify your leaks for you.

  • No, a HUD is not included. However, you can use the Hand2Note tutorial and the stats included in the stat checker to build your own HUD with whatever stats you need.

  • Hand2Note 3 is only supported on PC. But Hand2Note 4 (which is currently in beta) will work on Mac, and you will be able to use this stat checker with Hand2Note 4.

  • Yes! Just reach out via email or Discord when you are ready to upgrade, and I’ll provide you with a code for the Pro version that will deduct the amount you have already paid for the Basic version. There is no additional charge to upgrade.
