Play like a solver with simplified GTO protocols

Our simplified game theory optimal (GTO) protocols were developed specifically for Mobius Cash using custom solver data aggregation software. The goal: to achieve near-GTO exploitability on the flop and turn at betting nodes with a relatively simple set of instructions.

It is well understood that there is only one true GTO solution for range composition in any given scenario, and it is usually so complex that it is impossible for a human player to memorize or execute in game.

But if even a small amount of exploitability is allowed for, then there are effectively infinite near-GTO solutions, some of which are far simpler than the equilibrium strategy. These solutions, which are both highly accurate and practical to use, are what we will give to you.

We also take great care to ensure the protocols for similar scenarios overlap as much as possible, so that you can batch them in your memory. In this sense, you are not just learning through rote memorization. Instead you are learning general heuristics for polarization, and simply memorizing a handful of adjustments in any given scenario.

We all know that exploits are where the real money is made, but the ability to mimic a solver’s betting range in every common spot up to the river is what bulletproofs your game against the toughest regs at high stakes and nosebleeds. When you are playing against challenging opponents who may not have the same leaks as the average 200nl grinder, you need a balanced strategy to fall back on.

Have you ever spent an hour or two procrastinating on your poker studies, only to finally get to work and think, “What the hell should I even study?”

You sit there for another ten minutes and your mind goes blank. You have some hands marked from yesterday’s session, but they don’t seem that interesting today. Then you remember about the poker course you bought that you haven’t finished yet. So you fire up a video, only to find yourself fast-forwarding though basic concepts you already know.

The problem is most poker coaching is produced for the mass market and is not personalized for your needs. It might work for the average player who is just starting out, but if you’re already an established winner, then you don’t need to be coached from the ground up. This is part of why it can be so hard to motivate yourself to study: deep down, you know you’re not studying effectively.

It’s a common problem among mid- and high-stakes pros to feel as if they’ve hit a ceiling with their poker studies. Many of these players simply surrender to studying less. They stop getting better, and gradually find themselves losing interest in the game.

This program is different because we begin your coaching with in-depth database reviews to find out exactly where your biggest leaks are. We’ll tell you where you’re missing opportunities to exploit your pool, and where you’re incorrectly deviating from GTO, so that you know exactly what to study.

We have used Hand2Note and PIOsolver/Monker to create a complete map of GTO frequencies at every common node in the game tree, which we can overlay your stats onto. This allows us to quickly identify any node you are not hitting GTO frequencies, for example, overfolding vs. flop stabs. We can also compare this data to pool frequencies, and tell you if there are any exploits that you are not capitalizing on.

Members will also receive follow-up stat checks on a quarterly basis. These stat checks serve as a “sanity check” which give you peace of mind and protect you from the risk of a downswing going off the rails and having long-term negative impacts on your game.

Our database reviews are unique in that we not only compare your action frequencies to GTO, we also compare your range composition to GTO.

This allows us to make a direct, one-to-one comparison between your betting/checking range and PioSOLVER’s betting/checking range at common flop and turn nodes.

If you’re underbluffing or overbluffing in a certain scenario, we’ll be able to tell you exactly what part of your range is causing that to happen. For example, if you are not betting enough trash hands, low pairs, or semi-bluffs.

We can also tell you whether or not your deviation from equilibrium is incentivized by population tendencies, or whether you’re being naturally exploited by your opponents. For example, if you are underbluffing in a scenario where the population tendency is to overfold, then your average opponent will naturally exploit you.
